Checking 6!!
 

I was viewing a Utube BOP advanced training clip,and this guy was able to look straight back!
I looked in the FAQ's and I didn't see any post.Someone teach me that trick.Looking straight back at 3/4 head movement is about right.Most planes you could only see about that much to the rear.The Spits had a mirror,now that was good thinking on someones part.I believe some P-51's put mirrors in them as well.

I'm not sure, but I believe the dualshock is the only device that allows you to check 6. A link to the vid would help me understand what you saw.

Thanks StiC.I tried online but nobody was online!It's no big deal on looking straight back as I prefer the view they have.I'm having to reach deep into the bag of tricks in the simulation mode.The AI is pretty good and the merge tricks I used in Aces High don't do as well with BOP.I'm enjoying this sim more and more each day!
You had better have the enemy plane filling your gun sight,because Long range shots aren't going to cut it!

Is it possible that the video was of Wings of Prey (Birds of Prey for the PC) and not Birds of Prey? I beleive that with head traking control you can view your 6 much easier when inside the cockpit.

If you're using a stick then you cant check your six with the hat, it's a known problem that was never fixed. You can, if you are using ps3, use a mouse to look round, just plug it in and it will work.
