When I Start game It just gives me a black screen :S help
 

I mange to get past the adverts but then it just come up with a black screen. I can hear the music and i am on steam btw

I'm facing the same problem whenever i try switching to Nvidia graphic option. the game runs well on integrated graphics. I've Nvidia Geforce GT540m Cuda 1 GB graphics card in my laptop. i recently re-installed the game without installing the latest patch. its running fine but whenever i install the latest patch i get the blank screen. can anyone help?

I have a idea but I'm not sure if this would work but why not, let's give it a shot.

Go to: Documents\my games and just delete or move the (men of war - assault squad) folder and start the game again. an see if that would work.

if that doesn't work i would guess that your DirectX or 3D card driver would need to be updated or the set up of your operating system may have to be change in the 3D driver setting option for the game to work.

anyway is a shot in the dark, maybe someone else know the solution if my idea don't work at all.

I tried that deleting or moving the folder solution too. I have all the other Men of War Series games. They all work great. My graphics card drivers & directX are upto date. I don't understand why only MOW:AS is not able to select my Nvidia graphics while rest of Men of War Series games do. and when i try run with Nvidia graphics i get the blank screen after 1C logo.

OS: Windows 7 Home Basic 64-bit Service Pack 1
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU M 380
Memory: 8GB RAM
Graphics: Nvidia Geforce GT540M 1GB Cuda

hi i resolve the problem by installing the latest Nvidia drivers which were released couple of days ago. Now the game runs fine but still it lags a bit. i think there is still some bug in the game. I hope the latest patch fixes this issue.
