d3dx9_37.dll error, Any ideas?
 

Hi people,

"d3dx9_37.dll is either not designated to run on windows or it contains an error."
Tried deleting this file and downloading just the file, does not fix.
Windows 7/ 64 bit.
Tried running Admin. Tried runing as Vista, XP
and getting the same error on 2 differant computers, one running Vista 64, other running Win7 64.

Just update DirectX http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=35

This type of problem usually occurs when d3dx9_27.dll is missing from your computer. This dll file can be downloaded from here.
http://dllcentral.com/d3dx9_27.dll/9...0000/download/
Download it and then extract the downloaded zip file to the Windows System32 folder, which is located in Windows Drive.
