Bug or not?

Hi all,
yesterday I tried to map some control key. I forgot the mirror was mapped by default with key 'M' and I assigned the same to navigation map. CloD accepted this assignment with no warning message (i.e. key map already assigned. Do u want to overwrite?)...and the amazing thing is that this effectively works ingame. Two commands with single key mapping.
Is not properly a bug, butI can't foresee some utility of this; assuming there is some!
Cheers

Maybe it only gives you a warning if it's in the same category. That IS slightly annoying.

However, I really appreciate that we can have several keys for the same thing :)

So you are saying that when you press the "M" key to bring up the map your mirrors go away. And if you bring back the mirrors the map goes away.

I changed a keybinding for the wheel brakes, and was surprised to find myself jumping around to the different crew positions instead of stopping the airplane. A warning that the key is already in use would be very welcome here.

Same here: Alt to fire MG's conflicts with Alt (and right click) to edit info windows, means I fire whenever I need to type in chat. Too lazy to change it in game and my x52 profile :-P

I suppose it could be useful for start up procedures in a bomber - press one key and everything's set? Defeats the object though.
