The exponential damage calculation formula has some advantages over the linear one: The strength of creatures relative to the strength of other creatures is preserved with the strengthening of the hero: high-level creatures retain their strength relative to low-level ones. Previously, with a linear formula, +20 Attacks for a weak creature like a Peasant were much better than +20 Attacks for a strong creature like a Black Dragon, but now +20 Attacks will have equal value for both of them. The damage calculation formula is: Damage = Damage to the Attacker*(1.02^k), where k=Attacking - Defending, there are no limits to the coefficient k. Due to the special feature of this formula, in order to maintain some balance, the calculation method has been changed for items that increase Attack percentage (these are Demon Crusher, Silver Rapier and Dragon Slayer Sword), they now increase Damage by the same number of percentages. However, there is one disadvantage in this formula - with very high values of attack and defense parameters, the damage can take on too huge and minuscule values. In general, the mod makes it easier to complete the game. - If the blow is from magic, then the arrival of rage is increased by 2 times. - If a player has lost at least one unit, he gets +2 rage - Chance to get mana or rage potions after the end of the battle (Mage receives Mana potions, Warrior - Rage potions, Paladin 50/50) - Critical damage can be caused by magic or special skills of creatures. Damage rate is 150% of the maximum for this spell/skill. *************** ***arena.txt*** *************** - The Dragon pet can grow up to level 100. This allows you to unlock all his skills. The same goes for obtaining talent runes. **************** ***medals.txt*** **************** - Enhanced bonuses given for achievements. **************** ***skills.txt*** **************** - Enhanced the bonuses given for skills. **************** ***items.txt*** **************** - Added the powerful "Undead King´s Crown" artifact. **************** ***spells.txt*** **************** - Enhanced the power of most spells. - Intellect affects on most of spells duration. - The duration of some level 3 spells increased. - Fireball: Increased peripheral damage. - Healing: affects on magic immune units. - Slow: on level 3 it affects all hostile units. - Blind: does not affect undead. - Crue Fate: does not affect undead. - Ice Serpent: Increased peripheral damage. ************** ***CREATURES*** ************** - Leadership requirement for Level 5 creatures has been reduced by 25%. - all magical creatures with a ranged attack have added a "shooter" parameter - Zombie: increased health and damage. New skill: Turns a fallen humanoid squad into zombies. - Plague Zombie: increased health, damage. Infects with the plague. - Alchemists deal area damage with Fire Potion. Holy Water now works on Demons. - Gunners: Increased attack damage. - Druids: The power of summoning ability has been increased. - Dryads: The power of summoning ability has been increased. - Elves: Slightly increased maximum damage. - Archmages: the Telekinesis skill has become rechargeable, and the damage from the main attack has been slightly increased. - Archers: Slightly increased Ice Arrow damage. - Paladins: Increased resurrection power. - Inquisitors: Increased resurrection power. - Chosha: The power of summoning ability has been increased. - Demonologists: The power of summoning ability has been increased. - Griffins: The power of summoning ability has been increased. - Thorns: The power of summoning ability has been increased. - Phoenixes: Increased life points, damage, attack and defense power. An enemy attacking a Phoenix in hand-to-hand combat ignites. - Skeleton Archers: increased health, damage from skills using special arrows. - Skeletons: Increased health. - Imps: Increased peripheral Fireball damage. - Ghosts: Increased health. Increased the amount of regenerated populations when drinking vital energy. - Necromancers: The power of summoning ability has been increased. Increased peripheral damage from main attacks. - Increased the amount of experience awarded for destroying Gremlin towers. - Some of the enemy heroes received new spells, increased their battle bonuses. - Angelic Guard and Phoenixes are available to hire and it's possible to spot then on the adventure map. In general, the modification makes it easier to complete the game, makes the use of magic more effective, and allows you to recruit more creatures into the army. It is recommended to play at the difficulty levels "Hard" or "Impossible". INSTALL: 1) Unzip the KB_CW_MOD_Undead_Resurrection_v10.rar to the folder: King's Bounty Crossworlds\sessions\ 2) Launch the Crossworlds game and select the "Undead Resurrection" campaign in the campaign menu (on the right on the main page). To activate all the mod's features, you should start a new game. The pack includes two localizations: Russian and English. |
