Alternative default skins request?
 

I was wondering if there are any skinners out there that could just give the Boulton Paul Defiant default skin an alternative prop spinner,see pic,with black/white colour,and maybe rename default skin to default B so this can be used in conjunction with the original.

Also there were quite a few Hurricane Squadrons that used a White prop spinner in BOB,it would be nice again to have an alternative default skin with a white spinner,maybe renaming it to default C as we allready have deafult A and B skins.

I hope this would'nt take too much work,as it's only the spinners that need an alternative colour,but it really would be appreciated to us historic anoraks :)

Here you go. Took a while to figure out which bit of the skin holds the spinners. There is two Defiants, plus a red nosed Hurricane, a white and a duck egg version too (pictured).

How do you get any of the extra skins to even work in the game?

I have yet to be able to select the type B cammo on the Hurri and have it work.

Stupid GUI is a mess.

El, I'm damned if I can get them to work either. I can make the black Defiant show in-game, but the rest and more do not. I notice the jpegs have different sizes and suspect some sort of compression needs to be done to get them readable. You're right about the GUI, it's bloody awful.

Yes,the skins show up superbly in the 3d Viewer but fail to show up in the game,can't be anything too difficult to fix.Maybe there is a limit on how many skins you can have per aircraft I don't know.

This is a real pity as Feathered has created some bloody good skins here.
