Track IR3 Support # PROBLEM RESOLVED #

(Sorry if this has been covered before but search did not bring any relevant results.)

I can use the "mouse look" feature no problem in game, but my TrackIR3 device does not light up (Blue LED's) when the game starts like all the other Simulation programs, nor does it work in game. I can use the F9 key to enable/disable the IR3. (Green LED on/Off).

The driver version is TrackIR Version 4.1 Build 37.

Has anybody got their IR3 working in game?

I'm useing it with the 5.1 drivers. Works good but its a little twitchy. I need to work on a profile for it.

Edit: Looks like I will need to update. The 5.1 is looking for IR3 with Vector update which I don't have. So it does not find my IR3 :P Good for NaturalPoint. Plus I get 6Dof too.

i have a trackIR 3 and its working fine, i have vector though but im sure it was working even before i activated it.

there is a bottom in the driver menu "update games". Try it.

Remember when updating TrakIr software First you have to uninstall your present TrakIr software, then UNPLUG your TrackIR. Install the new software and THEN plug in your trackIr so that your software can then "detect" it . Phew. Its cumbersome but if you dont your TIR wont work, at least thats how it works for me, I use TIR5 .

I could not get Version 5.1 working after many iterations of installing and uninstalling.

Used the latest driver version 4.1 Build 38 and it worked. (Build 37 didn't).

Got my head into the game at last! Thanks again.
