Ssao
I would like to now what is the different in graphics with the SSAO ON
and SSAO OFF i tested and i didn't see any different in graphics but i saw a good boost of performance:rolleyes: |
Look at the underside of a spit or hurri, you will see it adds some very slight shadowing around the rads etc. There were some comparison shots on the forum, but I can't find them now :(

What does SSAO stand for and what does it do?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Screen_...ient_Occlusion Edit: Actually that wiki page doesn't explain very well. It's a form of ambient occlusion, the aim of which is to simulate the way light disperses and reflects off a surface / object / scene. With SSAO you get nice shading in the corners of walls for example. |
