Cockpit view...zoom in incrementally
 

With IL2 1946 when in cockpit view you could zoom in incrementally. With COD when in cockpit mode I feel like I’m sitting too far back and would like to scooch in a bit. Is there a way to do it without going in all the way with loosen strap mode?

Start the game and go to the controls/keys/camera section, and map a key to "Hold To Adjust Field of View".

Then when you hold that key in flight, you can adjust the FOV by moving the mouse forward and back. I mapped mine to the right mouse button so I can do it with one hand.
