I think the problem you were having was the map you were using...might have , i just made a very simple channel map woth NO AI A/C just spwn areas and AA. I droped the .mis in the root folder of \Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover typed in missLoad basic40.mis and it loaded ans said
"Mission loaded. time = 5.545"

we are there as well mate but remember you need to start the battle to make it work.

:mrgreen: haha yes I did and I've gotten that far.

But somehow we have to start the battle up.. If you type in battle you get a warning saying battle stopped.

Long story short, I just had a squad mate try joining ur server and mine with the mission loaded thingy and on both attempts he just timeouts :(

i am assuming it is started by default, but if not i am at a loss as i cannot remember how i used todoit with 1946 :( i say that because the commands look very similar to what i remember.

type battle start :)

try it now, i just typed in "battle start" and got the return message saying "Server: Battle begins!"

Mine loads and I can connect but the battle needs to be started.
