Got the Steam download version of the game, and I've noticed that I have a empty user.ini file in my C:\Users\Smee\Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover folder, does anyone know what this file is for or what it's supposed to do?

EDIT: Don't ask me how this ended up in the Performance area was in the COD forum when I clicked on "new thread" :confused:

Start doing some keybindings etc Goanna and I think you will find it will start filling up.

That's what I thought too IvanK, however when I changed/added bindings they appeared in the confUser.ini and the user.ini is still empty. Ahh well it's early on in the life of COD, no doubt it's use will be discovered at some point down the track. :grin:

It is the file where the game store the key and joystick preferences.

Nope... least not in my game it doesn't, stores them in ConfUser.ini if you hit the "Apply" button, if you "save as" then it saves them in whatever name you give it.
