just managed to get the sim working , seams that its a resolution bug via interface and conf file.

reset my res to the same as desktop via

C:\Documents and Settings\user\My Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover

manual edit the res in config file.

named = conf

[BOB]
EpilepsyFilter=0

[window]
DepthBits =24
StencilBits=8
DrawIfNotFocused=0
SaveAspect=0
Render=D3D9
width=1440
height=900
ColourBits=32
FullScreen=0
ChangeScreenRes=1

this fix worked for me to get the sim running .

was beautiful visuals , however am seeing frame rate loss over buildings and terrain area.

even when grass was disabled in options.

with time am sure they will get the frame rates better.

Hi diveplane,

You are a bit high on the resolution with this GPU I am afraid.

Look at my post at
http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthr...t=19777&page=3
for the performance on 800x and 1024x, the settings are mentioned there.

"using 3.25 of ram access"
THAT IS INTERESTING!
Can you post some information about how to set up this, please?

On the UBI forum a possible cause for 'non launching' has been identified with NET 4 failing to install correctly during installation. The problem was cured by manual installation.
