Saitek: low budget head tracker
 

I was told that Saitek will bring a low budget head tracker around 50 € but I can't even find anything about it on the net.

Anyone?

where did you get these news from?

I hope it's one based on wireless accel/gyro/compass - I am sick of having optical tracking and deal with sun glares during the day.

i don't think it will work for 6dof. a device with accellerometers have 3 axis, so you'll get only roll-pitch-turn and no front and lateral movement, like the nintendo wiimote, it have accels, but is also a camera that read the led bar.
