CD Key Question

Hi, I have my other MoW games tied to an old GameSpy account I don't particularly use anymore, and was hoping I'd be able to tie this one to a new account.

However, when I hit create account (literally just purchased the game), it turns out I had been on the Open Beta on my old account.

So is my CD Key from Open Beta the same as my CD Key for purchasing the game? Am I SOL for making a new account and have to use the old one again?

Steam will distribute a new cd-key to you once the game is released. It will only work with the full game and you can bind it to any account you like.
