Just found out the item which reduce astral damage can reduce the cost of sacrifice spell.:)

and?? This item is well known, actually you can forget about beating Scrounger without it

I did in the last game with no Astral resistance (impossible, no loss too)...

Easily the hardest battle to get a no-loss out of. 50 Ogres running up to you and smacking you one immediately (then the Shaman enemies to deal with on top of that), i was lucky in that the Ogres targeted the Paladins.

It took a lot of thinking, when to use Time Back, when to use the Paladins ability between castings etc, very messy and very long battle.

Oh okay, by "cost" he meant damage, I thought he meant a reduction in mana needed to cast the spell.
