BoB in IL-2,70th Anniversary of Battle of Britain day
 

Today is the Battle of Britain Day in UK, but while we have not SOW:BoB ready, we have to do it with IL-2.

All the past summer, as many of you know yet, from http://virtualbattleofbritain.com many historically accurate missions were flown exactly the same day that the 70 year ago real mission, with the same targets, routes, and planes (but not real numbers by olimitations of the simulator, of course) ;)

This video, taken from a single track of one of those missions, is my personal homage to all the real pilots that flew in the BoB...

... and also a warning for nowadays virtual or real pilots: even in the best flight of your life, yoou can never, never never get so self-confident that you miss someting important... and I say this for the last scenes of the video! ;)

May I ask how you toned down the colours please?
Was it some sort of filter in a video editor?
Also, I would love to see this again at full speed.
Do you have a full speed edit you could post?
