Your CD Key is blocked
 

Hi, bought a copy of Men of War of Gamers Gate and I login into gamespy then it has a message "Your CD Key is blocked" and takes me back to the main menu.

Strange thing is, it has not asked me to enter my serial key yet.

That's more then strange, are you already registered at GameSpy? "Your CD Key is blocked" message means that you were banned for some reason, but at the moment the moderator is on vocation and you can't be banned. Try to ask GameSpy support.

I played in the free multiplayer and have men of war victory day edition installed. I tried changing key in registry.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\1C\Men of War\{username}={mykey}

I get a different error when logging into gamespy. "Your profile is bound to another key".

Try to create a new GameSpy account. Changing only key won't give any positive result as the current name is connected only with old free key.

I like to keep my exsting gamespy account so I will ask gamespy for help.If that don't work I create a new account. thanks.
