A Strategic Setback: No Royal Snakes
 

For my 2nd game, I thought to marry Feanora and use Royal Snakes as a major force. Well, I married her, but I find that nowhere in Darion--not Marshen Swamp or anywhere else--is a single Royal Snake available. Snakes and Swamp Snakes, yes, but no Royal Snakes (aside from the dozens I've had to fight). I know the game generates available units randomly, but has anyone else had this happen? There was no shortage of them in Marshen in my previous game. Grrrr. Will inventories change after my first promotion, maybe?

Royal Snakes somehow appeared at Witch Helga's hut and at Castle Mudin; and Feanora has turned into a frog. Charge!

Does anyone use spiders with Frog Feanora? You can of course hire scads of them, but does anyone find them useful??
