Mutliplayer mode ?????

New to the game and the forum so please forgive me if this is asked before or kinda nerdish.

At the main menu there is single player, Online, profile and credits ops.

When do i get to play multiplayer mode ?
How do i get online ?

Gaming in a ps3 which is online on the net, get a request to attent a playstation network applaication at dont know how to.

Glad for any help.

Yep. get the message at I need to connect to laystation network, but dont get online !!!

Are there no local multiplayer option ?
As in 4 players dogging eachother on the console ?

No, unfortunately there is no offline multiplayer, there is only the online multiplayer
