To the PS3 Community

I just wanna say that I'm proud of how great the people are on the PS3 online community for this game on SIM mode. It's nice to go on because people are not cheap and such as well as very polite and nice to talk to. It's nice to play a game where people aren't smack talking and swearing over and over again for once! Just wanted you guys to know that I appreciate it! Happy flying!

I couldn't agree more :)

Some games (cough, CoD WaW, cough) seem to attract a community of foul mouthed children, always spouting f... this or n..... that.

But this game seems to bring with it the sense of sportsmanship and etiquette that you hear tales of in the actual war (like the 109 escorting a B52 home, or the Xmas football game in the WWI trenches, or whatever).

There's only a handful of games that seem to attract such great communities (Wipeout HD and Monster Hunter being others I can think of), and it's always great to see it and be a part of it.

Exactly, it's nice to play a game were everyone has good sportsmanship for once.

Actually, it's interesting that you mention those examples in the real wars. One thing that we often forget is that most of those soldiers were fighting because it was there jobs and they had to and not because they had something against the guys on the other side. It's really interesting that there is still human kindness even in the midst of war.

Couldnt agree more, this game is a blast to play online mainly b/c of the ppl that play the game (on sim anyways). Just a shame there arent more ppl out there.
Cheers guys
