In which view is it easiest to hit target?

I always use 3rd person so I know exactly where my plane is. I fly 109's so I dont have cockpits as an option, but it seems like they block most of the screen anyway (judging from my flights in a P-47.).

What do you all use and why?

Keep in mind that the WHY is more important than the WHAT. So please dont post one without the other. :)

I prefer 3rd person, but I find the virtual pit the easiest to target with, since its almost identical to a modern jet fighters HUD.

I always play sim, and can never find a game online so I use the Virtual cockpit(if that is the one as mentioned above)
I always want to use the proper cockpit but find it obscures your view to much, since on sim you must look for your enemy, rather than just follow an arrow!

Virtual cockpit is definitely easiest. You can lead your target without problems, while still keeping an eye on them.
