Wow! that was quick :) I was expecting around about a month after the demo

Should I buy & download now, then buy physical or just wait to get physical... hrmmm!

Any idea of the download size?

Divebomb 08-07-2009 06:33 PM

edit: what I mean is european release, where is it?!

AHO 08-07-2009 08:22 PM

Will there be a German version?

hykao 08-07-2009 09:12 PM

There's no European version - there are no censored textures...

Boyarpunk 08-07-2009 09:46 PM

Yay!

Now I know what my girlfriend is getting me for my birthday! ;)

Liz Shaw 08-08-2009 02:03 AM

Downloaded the game last night and completed it two hours ago. Overall, it is a very good improvement over the original Death to Spies, but there are a couple of oddities and errors worth mentioning.

NOTE: May contain spoilers
  • On the Airfield mission, after poisoning the pot of stew with laxatives, the AA gun crew rush to the sick bay and go to sleep, instead of rushing for the nearest toilet.
  • On the Submarine Base mission, a couple of soldiers give the Heil Hitler salute to Strogov while he's dressed as a sailor or a submariner.
  • On the French Chateau mission, the hookers on the top floors have German voice clips.

And some funny moments:
  • German females say "Paul ist tot" in one of the voice files, conjuring up the "Paul Is Dead" rumour.
  • Reference to the Hitman games: In dialogue, American characters will talk about a new hitman with a "shaved head, dark suit, red tie, everything", which matches Agent 47's description.

Also not in future time?

Well if not, then this is another good project for me ;)

Nike-it 08-12-2009 12:21 PM

Liz: sailors or submariners outrank the private soldiers! Bitches speak German - why so strange?

Seemed weird to have German prostitutes inside a French chateau...

One real error in Whitehead: The hints claim that the movie theatre is on the second floor, but it's really on the third.

hykao 08-12-2009 11:25 PM

Oh...bitches who want to earn good money have to speak other languages...especially English, German etc. etc...so that bitches perhaps are not Germans...but speak German... ;) ...This is Europe, the Continent where peoples speak various languages... ;)

About "floor" thing: this is one of very confusing things - the differences between British and American English...

British English: first floor = 1. floor (upstairs...)
American: first floor = 0. floor (the ground floor)

...as far as I know...

should i get the game guys??!! what's your opinion?!! i like stealth games but not annoying kind of them. what do you think about MOT?

Jason 08-13-2009 10:40 AM

The game is fantastic!, stealth is the name of the game here. It's the best WW2 stealth game out there. It has nice graphics and great challenges. It's everything Commandos Strike Force should have been. You have to steal uniforms and items to reach your objectives and reaching each sub-objective isn't always easy. It's a fun game but it is for pro-gamers ;)

persoiranian 08-13-2009 03:13 PM

i'm not pro-gamer in Stealth genre but i'm not a dumb at all;) what's your suggestion then? should i get it?

Pizzadvl 08-13-2009 03:19 PM

Sadly there aren't AI driving vehicles.

Jason 08-13-2009 03:30 PM

Play the demo first, then make your decision (play both the DTS and MOT demos)

Yes and also get the Prequel ;-)

persoiranian 08-13-2009 06:25 PM

Ok Thanks Guys

Pizzadvl 08-14-2009 07:06 PM

Wow.. short :(.

Looking at the ending, it looks like there is coming a third! :D.

Jason 08-15-2009 02:12 PM

I just found out you can give soliders orders! that is so cool, but they don't exactly "wait" for very long do they :|

Hello, I played the demo and found it to my liking (what made games like Hitman, Commandos great seems to be there), but can't find any information regarding European release.
Are there plans to publish the boxed version of the game in the UK at least (so I can import it)?

On a related note, please start working on Death to Spies 2 already.;)

RyuRanX 08-17-2009 09:26 PM

I'm enjoying a lot Moment of Truth. The graphics are quite good, the level design and mission objectives are suberb, the sound and story are OK, the only real problem is the animations. Come on, we aren't in 1999! Every moviment you make looks very robotic and unrealistic, fix this for the next game, focus a little more on character and story development and you'll have a AAA game!

I am going to have to strongly disagree here, I think the animations are fantastic and bring this game alive. They aren't perfect but they stand next to games that use motion-capture. Compare with H&D2 that uses that process (H&D2 Sabre Squadron having very good animations).
