Very good preview by a well informed source. While it didn't really tell me much I did not already know about the game, what was said agreed closely with what I think and covered many of issues raised on these forums, and there was a considerable amount of new gameplay footage to back it up.

It seems like the only thing he had negative to say was the control mapping, you should be able to change it.

Nice review, although I do agree with l88bastard. No mention of unicorns again, hopefully they will be included in a patch:mrgreen:

Sure, I'll give it to him, there should be some button-mapping for standard controllers, but I really think that Simulation mode is FOR flightsticks. If you're on a PC and try to fly the Sturmovik games you're going to have a pretty hard time doing so. That's because it's a flight simulator. I was playing the demo just a little bit ago, on arcade (my Ace Edge hasn't arrived yet), and I was having a GREAT time. But, if I select simulation mode I should be able to play a flight sim. I've gone to the trouble to buy my flightstick and shouldn't be penalized for it.

I have a feeling some foolish console reviewers are going to give marks off for a demanding simulation mode. But that's why it's there. I am so excited about this game, it's ridiculous. And although the arcade mode is fun, the reason why I'm pumped is all sim.

Word up, yo.
