MP Game modes?
 

Is there any info on multiplayer game modes? Will all the single missions be available in MP? Is there FFA and Team Death Match modes as well as scenerios? Do scenerios have respawning?

I know somewhere in the forums someone talked about that. I cant remeber. where. I think some game websites also talk about multiplayer modes.

There are deathmatch, team deathmatch, and capture the airfield modes, and a mode where you have to knock out the other teams ground forces.

All bar deathmatch are team based, and there is no co-op vs AI mode.

All modes support 16 players.

Is it Axis vs Allies?
or can both teams choose Axis or Allied planes?
Wich that would make it hard knowing who is who in sim mode.

Logically it would be Axis planes vs Allied planes, and I have also heard that it is possible to restrict choice of aircraft on a map to those that were actually in that theatre at that time.

Is the multiplayer peer to peer or server based like in BF1943? Will it be possible to have games with friends only without having to contend with a dozen screeching 12 year old Americans?

Playing in Realistic or Simulation would probably be enough to avoid having to play with little kids.

If you do end up playing with a bunch of little kids and you have a flightstick it would probably be easy to beat since they most likely wouldnt have one.

Im just as good with controller maybe even better.
Or does it only aply on kids?

If your better with a controler than use it. To me it just seems easier with a flight stick which is why I'm getting one.

nah im Decent with Flight stick aswell hehe, its just little more of a struggle but i just need to play more with it, only playing with it for couple of days.
And im used to gamepad for over 10 years.

Yeah im goin for an Ace Edge aswell, but its kinda had and expensive because i live in Europe hehe.
But i dont mind the Aviator at all.

I can fly quite well with a gamepad, but that comment wasn't so much about how good I am as about how bad 12 kids tend to be at real dogfighting.

I am trying to get one from ebay but they are all expensive.

Yea and i have to pay import taxes and such.

NO CO-OP GAME MODE... NOOOO!!!!! I think CO-OP is a bit too popular these days to not add in. I was looking forward to taking down the Reichstag with my friend....

I really hope they add co-op on a title update.

Yeah this game definately needs coop.

Also, the little kids are always going to be easy to shoot down, they'll be the ones flying around in circles doing the mary-go-round while flight sim vets pounce on them from their 4 o clock high.

Definately though, little kids won't be dogfighting much in Simulation mode. It's good that this game has arcade for those who like that, realism for the in-betweeners, and simulation for the hardcore folks.

Oh yeah can't wait.
