Unable to Supress Item
 

I have the Crown of Thorns item (helmet) and when its morale dropped to zero I attempted to supress it. After fighting the keepers and winning the item stayed as zero morale and showing it could be suppressed. I fought the keepers again with the same result. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

Thanks for any suggestions anyone has.

The Jackboots have the same behavior. I hope it's not a bug because I use this method to charge up my rage/mana before big battles.

It really looks like a bug, as all items with morale should reload amount of morale. Which version of the game are you playing?

I'm using the 1.7 patch and I have only the interface mod installed. I haven't even tried other mods.

Hmm, strange, I'll try it in my game, but haven't seen such bug yet.

This is also somewhat exploitable as you can fight the keepers over and over again for exp. and gold.

Guys, tried the game several times, but always didn't have problems with this artefact. If you really need this artifact that the only thing I can advice is to reinstall (copy you save files before) the game and load save file with the item.

My solution for the crown was just to improve the morale by taking it off when fighting Thorns and leaving it on while fighting everything else. It slowly improved until the morale was high enough to use. Its up to 100 morale now :)

Also quite usefull variant, but anyway I'd advice to use other hemlets with better bonuses:) also if you don't have many thorns in your army;)

I'm still pretty early in my game (13th level), but this helmet makes my Thorn Hunters and Thorn Warriors easily my most damaging units. My stack of about 700 Thorn Warriors hit for about 2000-3000 damage on non critical hits. I'll probably phase them out sometime later, but for now they are doing just fine for me!

In your variant this item really seems to be useful, sorry that we can't help you with this bug.

Have same problem with crown of elves, surpressed it few times, still nothing happens, ver 1.7 Altough its great item i found prismatic helm 1 hour later :D so it isnt much loss but still looks like a bug

I have also started to see this behavior. The jackboots and Elven crown especially is where I first noticed it but it's starting to spread to other items. Today that dwarven chest that gives +30% to attack and def is busted.

I am on v1.7 also...just wanted to report so the devs knew it was really a problem. Oh prior to 1.7 things were fine.
