Potential beta testing registration
Potential Birds of Prey beta testers (unofficial)
The purpose of this thread is to introduce IL2-BOP developers to potential testers for their beta. (subject to their needs) They may not require external testers, but should they have the need i think this thread will be helpul. If you are interested please complete the following information honestly, and update when necessary. 1: Your location (country) 2: Your system (console type) 3: Input device (keyboard, gamepad, flight stick) 4: Internet connection (type/speed) 5: Previous beta testing experience (if any) |
I'll get things started
1: Your location: Australia 2: Your system: Xbox 360 3: Input device: gamepad 4: Internet connection: ADSL2+ 10,000/5000. Netcomm Modem. 5: Previous beta testing experience: Call of Duty Xbox 360 Betas. Halo 3 Beta. |
I doubt they will have a beta for their game , but it would be wonderful if they did because it would increase the sales of their game 10 fold if they did
anyway 1: Your location: USA east coast 2: Your system: Xbox 360 3: Input device: gamepad + ace combat 6 flight stick 4: Internet connection: Fios 5: Previous beta testing experience: COD4 ( i was in the VIP beta before it went live ) COD world at war , Battlefeild bad company , Red faction guerilla , Shadowrun , and i think i was in every single one except for Endwar. But as I said , i doubt they will do a beta , but it would help them out |
Guys, Anton has already said there will be no public beta. It's in another thread here somewhere.
|
Aye, but surely they need people in various countries to test the game. Clearly Gears of War 2 devs did not do this, and clearly Gears of War 2 sucks ass online if you do not live in the USA. It was unplayable in Australia.
If Anton decided to privately send us emails with XBL codes for a bit of beta testing i hardly think that would constitute a "public" beta. Anywho, this thread hasn't cost us a cent - so if nothing comes of it who cares? Nothing ventured, nothing gained huh  |

I actually think its good that they don't do a Public Beta.
Public beta's are alright for testing servers, but its hard to do any real testing in a public beta. When your in a closed beta you can actually look for graphical errors and glitches, test the controls and its a lot more productive, because the people your testing with are mostly there to really try to make the game better, not just play a early demo. 1: Your location : USA, Ohio East coast 2: Your system : I have both a 360 and a ps3, (will test on either system) 3: Input device : I have a keyboard and a 360 controller, I also have the Ace Edge xbox 360 flight stick, I also have a saitek X52 flight stick. 4: Internet connection: I have Comcast Cable and my current speed test shows 23072 kbps (download) and 2410 kbps (upload) 5: Previous beta testing experience: Frontlines Fuels of War(360&pc), Call of duty 4 & 5 (360) , Battlefield bad company(360), Tom Clancys Endwar private & public beta(360), Dawn of War II(pc), Global Agenda (pc), Socom Confrontation(ps3), Killzone 2 (ps3) , Shadowrun (pc&360), Battlefield heroes ,battlefield 2 & 2142(pc), Red Faction: Guerrilla (360) |
