In what area can I recruit them?

Elven lands, dragon cave, accessible by sea.

To be more specific, you mean the Maze, right?

No, not the maze. If you take a boat from magic valley along the coast to valley of thousand rivers, you will reach an area that can only be reached by sea. It has a cave where I believe you are guaranteed to get emerald dragons.

I defeated all the dragon stacks and the hero and all I found was about 40k gold or so. Must have missed the dwelling then...

Ack!! I went back to the cave and I can't figure out where to recruit the emeralds?? I just don't see any building at all! Surely something like this can't be random? :confused:

Sail around a bit. I remember walking down a long narrow path to the dragon cave...it was on the southwest side.

I have found the cave before and defeated all of the dragon armies inside including the hero, but there is nothing resembling a dwelling inside the cave, except for this huge tree at the end which cannot be interacted with.

Or is this not the place to recruit them, seeing how you refer to a long narrow path??

Sail east along the coast from Magic Valley, after you enter Valley of 1000 Rivers, look for a path going up the hill. The cave is at the top. When you click on it, you can recruit many emerald dragons.

Ah okay, so I was looking in the wrong place after all. I was convinced the place to recruit them would be a big huge cave with several emerald green dragon guardians. :rolleyes:

A lot of the game is random, but I think that both versions are right:
1. in the huge underwater cave in thousand rivers,
2. also in magic valley
and I would add third option:
3. sometimes I find them in the undead lands (together with red/black dragons) - but very rarely
