Absolutely.

Much better to imagine to sit down in your plane that's not vulnerable to technical failures, fires 30mm like a machine-gun, completely disregarding the historical vulnerability to jams, using a binocular, when leaning forward to the gunsight, while the head otherwise is strapped to the headrest. And then these unexplainable radiosilence from your wingmen and air-command, even the tower doesn't give you a take-off clearance. Even the odd rasterized view, that does not only limit your field of fiew, but also your eyes resolution is much easier to take, than those silly, completely noobish and unrealistic icons, which are only there to remind you, you're still playing a video-game!

i too prefer icons OFF, but man, that was F U N N Y falkie :D

what a gay parade...if that was funny to you, u dont have a sense of humour...btw, my post about icons was a bit metaphorical..I know that im in a f simulator but icons are just another BIG reminder and very annoying reminder that im in a sim...lets say like this, without icons the sim is more immersive..

If you'd said it's a bit more immersive without icons, I'd even agree with you, as I prefer to fly without, too. But Icons off or on is surely not the difference between MickeyMouse and Shakespear.

If you then consider that icons on WC only display at very short range and that you furthermore have the choice to switch them off on your PC, your judgement is surely none that can be taken anywhere close to serious.

Daj ne njajke bez ikona tek vidim da je igra, kad se kurca ne vidi na 500m a Spitovi kompletno nestanu i na manje. Takve pizdarije samo pogoduju supermanevribilnim saveznickim cudima jer se svakom kurcu moras priblizit na 50m da vidis kaje...

A lot of the older guys like Icons for a reason... Some of you should consider there are always 2 sides to a story.

Regardless WC still has some really good pilots which can make up for the Icons.

Most people fly the Tempest and the P51 or P47 ATM.

LMAO...I can't even tell what that picture is with all that silly writing across the screen. I suppose, as long as I can read, then I shouldn't have to worry about seeing the silhouette, wing-shape or markings though.

gledaj, kad su ikone uključene imam osječaj kao da sam u jebenom lockonu....e pa nemre tako...problemi sa uočavanjem aviona/silueta jesu dijelom radi bugova u igri ali ovisi i koji monitor i na kojoj rezi igraš....jebiga stari...i to tvoje kukanje vezano za spitove i slične crvene aviončiće kolko god dobrim dijelom bilo opravdano je nepodnošljivo nekome sa mudima

gledaj kukaš ko mala pičkica za spitove...činjenica..ajmo dalje

letim više na plavim nego crvenim....najčešće na serverima zeke vs wildcat i spit vs 109...na prvom skoro uvijek plavi a na drugom više plavi nego crven....a spita letim jako rijetko...češće P47-cu....letim sa 2 različita nicka....bio sam do sada u 3 plava i jednom crvenom squadu....a komunjara nisam...nemrem ni biti baš jer prošlo je to doba hah....ti si neko siroče koje su starci valjda trovali nekakvim kvazipatriotskim nacionalističkim spikama,....kad već spominješ igru....da, spit je malo uber ali nije jedini...i Dora je...itd...tu je i problem jer overheating je jako loše modeliran...btw, komunjare su ti u drugom svjetskom ratu oslobodile hrvatsku od nacista i fašista dok su neki hrvati ginuli na ruskom frontu za njemce koji nas sad jebu sa big brotherom.....istina, mnogi su bili jako mladi i išli su radi letenja i adrenalina...
