King’s Bounty: The Legend English demo is available here. The demo includes the first city in the game, all three character types, multiple quests and dozens of spells.
Developed by faithful fans of the original King’s Bounty, King’s Bounty: The Legend continues the remarkable traditions of the legendary role-playing adventure. The game will be published by 1C Company and distributed in the United States by Atari and Nobilis in Europe. US release is planned on September, 23.

Hooray ! Finally i get to play it ... in english :P Although to be fair i only tried the polish demo a little.

So now we'll see how the translation fares. Download in progress...

EDIT: Yeah, not too well. The humour suffers with the unnaturally phrased sentences, but at least the game seems easily moddable.

Well, so far I like it, but I really hope that the full version is better optimized than this. Only a couple of hours in and the combat comes to an almost standstill. There is obviously a memory drain somewhere.

I really wish there was a way to scroll on the adventure map as well. Making your hero run to the edge of the map and then seeing an enemy at the last second is not fun. I want to know where I am heading to beforehand so as to avoid certain fights.

The .exe file is protected by Starforce, but the demo will not install Starforce drivers on your PC, so nothing to worry.

By the way, there's no link to the demo on the front page.

Boooooo Hoooooo!!! Two and half hours till I get off work and get home to my puter to start the download.....I was almost tempted to not get the demo cuz of the spoiler effect.....but I just can't resist the temptation....

Agree with this. Defo a memory drain somewhere. I have a good setup and graphics card, and even on the lowest settings, it's sloooow. Hope this gets resolved, cos it's ruining the demo so far, and it's looking like an amazing game...

BOO! How come you released the demo when I have no internet or power due to Ike!? :) The only reason I can post this is I finally got to work today where they have such marvels as power and internet.
