King's bounty: Warriors of the North - Expansion

Will there be an expansion for this game any soon?

I really hope they fix all bugs before doing anything like that.

I would desire an editor though.

Also I'd like to see a physical copy released, of WotN!

DGDobrev 02-05-2013 02:36 PM

I would also like to see a bunch of bugfix patches first. As for the people who are counting, rickah probably just upped his "physical copy of "Insert KB game here"" tally to over 75% :)

What's so bad about steam? You can always make a physical copy yourself too.

Well, there are a few things about physical vs. digital

1) Since the creation of this website there's always been a physical copy advertised...short of Amazon.DE, where is it for the English speaking world?
2) Obviously some people like physical copies, with artwork, booklets, etc over a digital download. Probably just old fashioned.
3) I like having something I can touch and look at, which is why I have a collection of over 1,000 BD's. I don't care for streaming.
4) All the other KB titles were released this way, so what not WotN?

I understand gaming companies save a lot of money releasing games this way, and then having the early customers perform all the beta-testing. That's great, I appreciate the early adopters! But give all the people that want the physical copy, that option. I don't think it's too much to ask.
I'm sure those that purchased the digital copy would doupledip on a physical copy just to have it....even more sales.

You are quite wrong on your last sentence. I'm sure most wouldn't. I can even bet most wouldn't because the game still has many problems. I think they will release a physical copy IF they are sure they will get their money back, because physical copies cost.

rickah88 02-06-2013 12:45 PM

Meant to say "some who purchased the digital copy"...
Either way, even if there was a worldwide physical copy to purchase there would be no way to know one way or another.
So I'll stand by my statement.

Mandea 02-06-2013 01:10 PM

Yes, there is no way to know, but it stands to reason that most people don't buy the same thing twice. You know, most people really use their heads :)
I am sure you will show me some users from this forum who purchased the physical copy after they had bought the digital one, but as percent, it is very low taking into account all the sales.

Does anyone know if sales for WON were decent and if 1C is funding patches ?

hippo 02-06-2013 05:01 PM

You will see new patch like pig see sky.

So, by your logic, if someone buys multiple copies of something they should "really use their heads". Well tell that to all the collectors that spend triple the amount to buy Collector's Editions of games that many companies put out. Or just collecting in general, it doesn't have to be relegated to video games.
I guess you're of the ilk: I don't do it, therefore it doesn't happen.
How closed-minded of you. Thank you.

Mandea 02-07-2013 07:02 AM

I realy think you should lower that tone because I don't remember saying anything like "close-minded" and the like to you allthough I consider I would be entitled to in reply to your last post. You talk about close-mindness, and yet you use harsh words just because I have a different opinion. well, the irony....

You misinterpreted my words on purpose so I am not going to reply to you anymore. It's very easy to verify what I wrote. just go and look at the sales numbers. Besides, you keep posting about the physical copy in every topic, even if there is now connection. You could send a PM to an admin and you might acomplish something in the end.

Great move!
