Spiral spinner nose art

Hello everyone, I'm very new to CoD and I was trying to apply a spiral spinner on the nose of my 109E3B. I tried creating the nose art folder in the PaintSchemes folder and I added the image to the same folder. However, when I'm customizing the plane and choose the image, the nose stays blank and it doesn't show up on the plane. Can someone tell me what I might be doing wrong? Or can someone be as kind as to send me a skin with a spiral spinner? (Just a basic JG51 skin with the black spiral on the nose, if that's doable). I appreciate any/all help.

Here are two links that will help you out when skinning the Bf109 (especially the spinner) ;).

There are different locations for the stationary, and the moving spinner.

Unfortunately though I don't have Photoshop :(. I was looking to use this normal skin and possibly ask someone with PS to maybe throw it on there for me?

With all the normal markings too ;)

and I apologize for making everything confusing

Hi Schnitter
If you dont have PhotoShop and dont want to buy it then
download Gimp for Free. http://www.gimp.org/
It is almost the same and I use it for making All My Skins.

I can't find any reference of an 'Emil' with a spiral spinner brother. I know they have had 1/4 color and 1/2 color spinners.

Yeah I think its a late war thing, it seems the nose got bigger with whichever version of the 109 you're looking at with a spiral. But either way I like the look of it and I don't think there is anything but the E model in CoD

I've put this up temporarily.
My spiral spinner needs some work, but this may get you started/keep you busy until you get it 100%.

*****EDIT***** Link is located at first post of 3rd page.

Been messing around since posting those last two pics..

Got it looking better, but not 100% satisfied yet.

***EDIT**** I just realized that you wanted it with markings aswell..
Which markings?

Wow EZ... you really are the man. Thanks a bunch dude! Oh and by markings I just mean the basic German cross markings, I'm not really sure what other markings are on the basic skin now that I think about it. Just not completely blank. Again I really appreciate the help

Schnitter 12-29-2012 10:33 PM

Just applied it and it's exactly what I was looking for. Saved me a lot of time and frustration lol

JG26_EZ 12-30-2012 10:33 AM

No problem.
If you'd like one with nationality markings, squad emblem, designation and hakenkreuz, let me know what you'd like and I'll add them.

Hey EZ, well after a year of playing this game and falling even more in love with it than I already was I've been trying my hand at skinning and man... it is not easy! I just wanted to give you another thank you for taking the time to make me that skin out of the kindness of your heart. You REALLY are the man!

Try sending JG26_EZ a PM.
I see he was here last week, even though he doesn't show himself very often these days.

Schnitter 02-24-2014 06:03 AM

I can send you the skin if you'd like, just gotta dig around for it

JG26_EZ 03-03-2014 11:47 AM

Hey guys

Firstly, thanks for your kind words Schnitter.

Second.. To: Jamesdietz... Sorry I deleted the file in that link (it's been a while).
If it's just the nose you wanted, I have a skin here in this link with the nose.

If it's the skin in the pic you wanted, all of my skins are available at the Airwarfare site. Or you can wait for Schnitter to find it (I can't remember which skin this is).
