Let's Play King's Bounty Warriors of the North
Hi everyone,
I am starting a new LP of King's Bounty: Warriors of the North. I haven't played a KB game since The Legend so feel free to post comments and suggestion if you see me doing something stupid :) Here is a link to the full Playlist The first Episode is up: Let's Play King's Bounty Warriors of the North Ep01 |
Guttom (tutorial) army has a weak link - vikings, so I always put them in reserves. They don't give anything but possibility to lose some troops.

Well hello sir, I don’t want piss on your parade here BUT I can tell from what I saw on your videos that you are not a “go everywhere see everything guy”. Some points you might consider for the second run.
*you missed 3 chests buried in the tutorial alone. (1st by the entrance to the One-eyed liar close to the wall, 2nd in the second cave turn right at the entrance and go in to the far corner, then there are always 2 chests in random locations in the Lich dungeon) *killing One-eyed is not that difficult without losses even on impossible so on normal it’s cat-walk, you get extra exp. plus over 10k in gold. On top of that this dude counts towards the head-hunter medal. *Exploring every possible conversations option gives you FREE stuff, for example the Lich in the tutorial if you stall to attack him he will give you a poison skull scroll AND 3 runes one of each. The Runolov or what’s his name (wizard dude) if you ask him to tell you about herbs he gives you rage and mana potion, then ask him about magic and you get two scrolls fear and dispel. Take this as a constrictive criticism, every one has different style of playing, but by going too fast you might miss opportunities to get more quests, open new locations or free stuff. Good hunting ;) |

whereas this game is strategy + tactical ( personally i wouldn't class this is an rpg but since u get quest and have some options i can't deny em that) the higher the difficulty u have the bigger the monster stacks so the more thinking;) unless u understand that as grinding ofcourse |

Idea for this videos was interesting, until you started making them.
So far you have 10 videos, around 6 hours of game play and not a single suggestion, explaining game mechanics to starting players to whom this videos should be planed for because experienced players have nothing to learn from you (sry to say it like this, but it`s true). It`s basicly just you playing all time. Why not jump some instances and make video of interesting things/battles in game not show every move you make. Lets play ... should be about teaching other inexperienced ppl something about game in question (why you pick some skill over other available, what spells work with others spells/rage skills, what unit is interesting to use and why...). If you continue like this, you`ll have around 200 videos before ending game you started :-( Wasnt my intention to burn your attempt to show gameplay on youtube, but change something in making your videos to make in interesting/useful to watch if you want any views/comment/question on them. |
Hi there, where would a very newbie go to learn how to play this game..I have done some experimenting; trial and error, but for instance where the heck is that wizard Runolov..thanks so much

What software did you use to record your videos?
Hey thanks for the videos!
What software did you use to record them? The quality is really good! I think it'd be great to record some of the features of my modding, but I never quite got into finding a program that could do really good recordings, like the one you used. Anyway, just curious about what you used and what kind of recording tips you might have - thanks! Matt Quote:
