The sorcerer's pet frog and plundered stylilst
 

Ok so I'm supposed to talk to Ratmir for these two quests, for plundered stylist i have found the 5 items, but there is no speech option for me to turn it in to him at his lighthouse. For The sorcerer's pet frog, i think i am supposed to talk with Ratmir, but again there is no speech option with him to do this.

Also for Heir to the throne, i have ordin's flag in my bag, but when i go to Asvald there is again no speech options.

Is my game bugged or am i doing something wrong?

Do you have somehow 2 Odin Flag's in your inventory? If so, you must sell or destroy one and you will be able to turn the quest.( and you will have no Odin Flag no more :( ).

As for Ratmir, check again your inventory a see if you have 5 items.

I just checked my inventory, I only have 2 of the ornaments but the quest says i have collected all 5, so i guess that is a bug.

I only have one ordin's flag, i've tried equiping it and talking to him, but i can't get him to talk.

got the same problem as green gimp on both quests

Cant return odins flag but got only one in the inventory also Ratmir is bugged quest says 5 collected (also can cleary remember that i picked up more than 2) but i only got 2 in the inventory.

I have the same problem with the plundered stylist. But I let some of the mobs run and now I'm wondering if I actually had to fight them in order to get the ornament packs, like you had to fight the wolf on Isterrig in order to complete the cabin boy quest.

I did finish without completing those quests so they aren't really necessary but I think my next play through, I'll just fight everybody so I don't miss anything else.

I never let any creatures run but this quest does not work for me. I have 2 packs that youre suppose to collect but i also have other items of clothing that info describes as "quest" items. I assumed they are one of the 5. Since my quest tells me to return to Ratmir, this is quite annoying since he Ratmir doesnt seem to notice that I have them. Maybe he's just an idiot and I would really like the option to "Attack". That way I could get rid of the built up fustration I'm experiencing with this quest

I am also blocked on odin's flag. I only have one in inventory. I think this is blocking my main quest and I cannot continue in the game.

Both quests bugged for me as well.

I've gotta say, I have NEVER seen such a poorly tested released game before. I've always been a big fan of the King's Bounty games, but it was a slap in the face to sell the game in this condition.

And then to have to completely restart the game in order for patch fixes to kick in? Incredible.... absolutely incredible...

Agreed, this is pretty bad. I am going to see if finding the ornaments in a different order fixes things.

Has anyone resolved or found a way to get this to work?

When I finish them "in any order", I only get 2 in my inventory, despite the quest log saying I have gotten all 5.

Never had problems with quests .Every one of them worked fine here.

I saw this tip posted by another forum user here that worked for me.

"Open the console (shift ~) and type: item cloth_pack
Repeat 3 times. You have now 5 items. "


I am personally now stuck on Odin's Flag as well. I sailed to Vastland, got the flag from the chest, got the quest update. I sailed back to Riftland. The King won't recognize my quest. I only have one Odin's Flag in my inventory.

I really am done with this game if I now have to start all over if that is required to progress the main storyline. I've encountered numerous bugs that should've easily been spotted and flattened by a one time playthrough by the developers, or through a beta-test by players. And then I've not even mentioned the atrocious amounts of spelling errors that a simple spellchecker should pick up.

It's really sloppy work I'm sorry to say. I love the series, but I guess they were really hard-pressed to release this latest one early.

Except using the console will deem me as a "cheater" at the end of the game's high score listing.

I'll see if I can jigger around this. If not, I'll just take the quest loss.

Are you sure this is the proper command you have to enter? Encountered the same bug, however I get no items in my inventory.

I've had the issue with Odin's Flag, but in a different fashion. Either I somehow got the flag twice or it wasnt removed properly, because after completing the quest I still had one.

As for the ornaments, had no issues there. Note however 2 of them aren't found by killing mobs, but in a tree cache and a chest at sea (on my second playthrough, I almost couldn't find the latter because it spawned pretty far off the coast). Also, if that helps, all the enemies I battled to find the others were viking groups (mostly with Warrior Maidens as the main stack). Some of them were on small patches of land on the coastal line close to the tower.

You have to get him to make a dress for the witch, yes. However, he won't be able to do it until you completed ornament quest. there is a one-time talk option about the dress, but he just says something to the extend of "can't do it before I got my stuff back".

Yes, but most of us who had/have problem, found all of the five items. Just there are only two in our inventories. By the way it's a disgrace that no we got no official word from the developers/publisher in this thread; excellent way to lose customers.

Ah, my bad. Does seem like the issue is with the ornaments found in battle, but I've no idea what might cause it.

Yeah I'm not sure either. I tried selling/destroying 60% of my inventory to see if it would make a difference.

I suppose I could try 100%, but ugh.

I doubt thats it, because I had a lot in my inventory at the time I did those quests and didnt get the bug. I guess it could be a specific item causing it but good luck finding out which one without extensive experimentation.

This problem is effecting me too, it's pretty annoying. :(

Well I used the console twice to fix a quest bug. Once with the stylist to get me the 3 tailor's packages that never updated. The other to get Odin's Flag again. Which I already had fetched for the king, but he never recognized the deed. Destroying the flag and using the console to give it again fixed it for me.

I just finished the game and I placed rank 2. Nowhere on the scoreboard does it say I'm a cheater of any kind, if that was of any concern.

This was my experience anyway. If you are worried you get labeled as a cheater I'd like to see some proof from others who have experienced it, because I haven't.

I just tried this but I couldn't get it to work. What exactly did you type into the console? I tried a few different versions like "item odin's_flag", "item odins_flag" and so on.

Sorry, this only occurred in King's Bounty Armored Princess, so I assumed it would be the same here. Good to know it did not!

It should be "item addon2_quest_odin_banner"

Sorry , Killing the robber can't solve this problem. This is a different quest.
Also the thief is in the marauder's cave in Grötland. İt doesn't seem in map .

Maybe ıt will be a funny question but I can't open console. Maybe this will because off my language and keyboard options. Is there any solution?

for this same STUPID quest i have managed to find 4 chest ( yes exactly 4/5 )

but unable to find the final chest do anyone have any idea......i dont want to miss these quests due to some stupid bug....
