Hello,
I'm begining a mod to correct some issue with this new sequel. It's a work in progress. CHANGE RuneMage : ability Phantom reduced. Each call of this power in a battle reduce the effectiveness by one third. Jotun : lifesteal increase from 10% to 30% Stoneskin Animation speed increased Book of evil Out . use the bug fix now. Corrected Stat. No more powerfull than a black dragon INSTALLATION Put the file minimod.kfs in \steam\SteamApps\common\King's Bounty - Warriors of the North\sessions\addon\mods |
I think put any mods that have no game effects in their own mod. I'd love to get the stoneskin speed upgrade, but would shy away from major balance changes like trippling the life steal on Jotuns.

You might also include directions on how to make these changes ourselves, like this thread does. Then we can pick and choose if you don't want to put them all separately.

will there be conflicts? I assume they make use of the same files? and so if I overwrite the file I'll lose the changes from the other mod? or do they all use different files? could someone make a combined mod? or something? I really want to nerf rune mages, and be able to cast stoneskin in under 5seconds... but I also want all the bugfixes |
In fact, the mod modify spell_power to correct the book of evil. But Bhruic included it in his mod fix.
So, i will remove this change in my minimod this evening . Problem solved. :cool: |

problem: your rune mages have 5initiative, the official game's rune mages have 2 initiative, the first official patch changed their initiative from 20 to 2, you accidentally buffed rune mages!

Not really. I consider 20 was stupid but 2 too. Do you think 5 is too much even with the nerf phantom ability ?

actually things might be fine this way, I just assumed you'd set it to 5 from 20, and never known about the 2 because the 5 was overwriting the 2 in the patch.

All level 4 human units are either 5 or 6, hence 5 is a proper initiative for rune mages.
20 gave too big advantage against everything, but 2 means they are trolls... |
