Is there any further news on the release date - getting itchy as I have a week off work at the end of October and looking forward to using some of that time to get into Warriors of the North:)

I'm a little skeptical now that we are a week into October and no news on the October release date. I think it may get pushed back, but this is just conjecture.

No chance to release this game on October.

1c is really an ineffective editor. We never get news from them although their part is to promote these games.

It worries me as well, but I've seen it happen before. I think the binding of isaac: wrath of lamb wasn't up til the very day it was released.

I do not see how the 26th is going to happen. Gamersgate and Steam do not have anything for the game on their sites. I just checked.

He knows the same as anyone, they have said it is Oct. IGN does not have a date. The facebook for WoTn only says Oct as of this writting. No pre-release sale can be found. None of the big game sites list it as a game to buy or coming soon.

These are not good signs for a 26th release, nor a good omen for sales. Now none of this means it won't release then or that it will not sell well. It is just not encouraging.

Yea - that is very annoying. I wonder if it is related to the fact that steam reduces the time between 'gold' and publishing (i.e, they can wait till the last minute to decide when the game is 'ready').

Yeah. Picked it up today :) It will be fun trying a new King's Bounty after such a long pause from Crossworlds. Price seems reasonable too, based on the value the series has.

I've got my copy on Steam pre-order to, it even came with a free copy of Fantasy Wars. :)
