Yeah I hope we get some sort of update today. "Other sims" have released betas with cool videos and what not they need to feed us a bone.

Its all good. Work on the netcode while waiting for the modeler to finish his work. That would be great.

No idea what they are working on now? Certainly the team has some sort of direction towards the next patch that you could share?

what about a patch for the current horrible clouds?

Comon guys, we got a "major" patch 2 weeks ago. Now the team have no reason what so ever to be heard from again until late October. (mean, i know, but im grumpy)

Just would of liked a few screens to wet my appetite. It really is something I truely look forward to every friday morning, no joke. I come to work, get a coffee, and read the IL2 friday update. It's been something I do for years.

Its among the most gorgeous looking games out there, but no, *it must run on my 6 year old CPU and 3 year old mid range graphics card* yeaaaa...:rolleyes:

I must admit it would be nice to have an update on the things they are currently working on and a few words with Blacksix is all it would have taken. I think getting the clouds right is taken forever in this game and it seems to be a major sticking point for me. One thing I will say though is that I much prefer the game with a weather beaten look to it rather then it been crystal clear and look as though I am flying around toy town.

Exactly, it cant be too much to ask what they are currently doing, or goals for the next patch, they should know this.

Retired? People should be thankful that people are happy to test something they have paid for in there spare time. Nobody is asking for a patch so stop getting carried away with yourself.

Well who else would it be aimed at, they removed a few bits and pieces so they can optimize them further nothing game or graphic breaking...

And FYI I fly with everything on high but with everything on medium there is very little change in graphics for a huge bump in fps i.e. medium to high settings and over 150fps flying around london from low to high... its just a pity the city looks bad atm texture lod is not great on houses :(

Welcome to this time last month.

Just sit and wait, I have to agree with the dog pic.

Unless you had not heard, August=Holiday in most of Russia..and many parts of Europe. Moscow is usually quite empty, and the dachas quite full. I'm sure its a well deserved holiday too.

Can't work in the summer because it's summer holidays. Can't work in the winter because it's too cold, and there's one month Christmas/New Years/Solstice holidays. Spring, there's Easter and May day and Victory day (total one month holiday). Guess that only leaves a couple months in Autumn to actually do any work.
