Aaaaaand here we go again...
:P |
I would love to see the autogen fixed and the hurricane starting problems, but the big one is to get the netcode fixed not least so we can start using different skins online, this is a massive immersion killer for me only seeing one horrible skin for the 109 on the ATAG server. I doubt the netcode will ever be addressed because i doubt they currently have the skills and capabilities to deal with it, but if they did it would bring a huge amount of people back to the game IMHO. I think by ignoring it the dev's are being very very shortsighted.

Hey mates!
Please do not leave me in the darkness of ignorance! What does "s!" means? |
Its an Internet salutation meaning "salute"
|
Well, today there is another long awaited update coming out...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=9F5zgtna9O0 :-P |
As we have Friday 13th i would expect the long awaited announcement of the sequel: "World of Moscow"
|
Apparently this friday the update will include the new Jason Voorhees pilot model.

The real italian word is "Saluti!" (the same as "Ciao").
"Salute" means "health". In my IL2 experience I found that S! can be used as greeting, but also as a way to praise the other guy.... and sometimes this can begin some trouble between the pilots: because of this I don't use it anymore. |
Thanks for s! explanation!

Lol, nothing. I'm off to a resort on the Gold Coast. See ya all when I get back.
|
Update won't be this week.
We're moving to another office. |
|
uh oh...
Forums to implode in 3... 2... |
Is that due to expansion, down sizing or just moving sideways?

We simply transferred to another building. It's a long process that will affect the timing of works.

Poor blokes. Rough times, rough times. |
I think in their new office they can work at the patch even better . Let's take a minute to say Thank you for the good job , 1C and let the all time whiners whine.

After the move it is time to start the summer holidays, too. I hope that the CloD - team will use the coming weeks for relaxing. They need a rest. And then they will work at the patch again for pleasing the community.
|
Quote:
Have you any idea in what time you will be ready to continue working? Regards Ps: These guys have an "excellent" timing for the things .... when they have less time to lose and they need to work almost 24/7, they makes a move .... just amazing |

I can fully understand it will effect everything, In fact in the history of MG games I can imagine it reading 'just when the dev's had fianlly nailed down the code and the ultimate patch was about to be released they had to move office and were never heard of again'.:grin: |
Quote:
Yes. isn't this great? Look at the enormous power they have. moving AND working. |

What.. so we still have no readme for the latest beta patch and any updates on the found issues is because you were moving to the new office during the past two weeks? How long does it usually takes to move offices in russia? Like how many weeks? And are you posting right now on the go from your phone?

Lets hope the major announcement isnt that Shia LaBeouf will be voice acting in BoM :) |

I think they are doing as well as they can in fixing the problems, with what they have to work with. I like this sim, and hope to see improvements as time goes on. binky9 |

Yes, they know what they have to do. To give us a very good...no...a perfect patch is their highest goal. |

Jokes aside, i decided to give them a chance. Maybe this move is a good notice for us and they will ready to continue working on monday in a better place, more confortable. If this move is consecuence of the necessity of more space because they hired more people, that is definitely a great news for us. More people working on it = faster time they will fix it
B6 could indicate in what time you will be ready to start working on it again? Regards |
|
So actually they are moving out of Luthiers apartment? :-P
|
!
Again no update / autogen fix for the last beta ????? 1C isnt serious dev. 10 months after last patch and still no any official patch solving problems. Its very easily for the dev add in the title of patch the name: beta, alpha, gama, poor fix ect. - no responsibility for community ect, why? Sorry its only beta, shut up and wait for next very soon :/. How is possible than now IL2 looks like the best example of poor dev. and poor contact with community and example how not to proceed? I remember all series from december 2001 and always the old IL -2, Il2 FB, PF, Peshka, 1946 was for me expample the best sim WWII for offline, online, huge Ubi Forum, nice feedback for community, good patches and good contact with Oleg? Mirror and mirror.... Pity, back to next week, now time for RoF, DCS World and FSX. See You. |

Whats up with you lot!!!!
Have you ever moved house?!!! He hasn't got 4 mins spare to write a dam read-me... They are loading up the Porsche Cayenne(s) as we speak |
NEWSFLASH
Luthier and 12 heavily disguised game developers spotted at Moscow airport boarding flight for Paraguay..... |
No, they're off to start a new life of leisure in Paraguay with the profits from COD - almost $90 in unmarked US notes....
|

I think the original plan was Rio, but you can't live the high life on $90...
|
Are they moving to a new office or are they moving under the cover of night? I wonder if that was the door of development I heard slam shut behind them?
I wonder if there will be anyone in the offices Monday to tell us. |
Do you think the next update will give us pictures of "Yak-girl?" lol
|
Reading the tea leaves, I've got a feeling that the COD/BOM project is on life support or worse.
I won't be holding my breath for any patches, hotfixes or even useful updates for a while. Hope I am wrong... |

I do seem to be developing an intense sense of 'deja vu'.:( |
I think in this case its probably more likely a Milton Waddams situation. :)
Make sure you watch your stapler during the move B6! |

I have a very sinking feeling that there are'nt enough life jackets to go around and they are treading very deep water. Hope my sixth sense is wrong but somehow it is usually correct 90 percent of the time. Fingers crossed! |
Another move can't be good, especially at this time. Hope all goes well and we get some news soon.

After this post last week from BS I imagine they are down scaling severly, probably just Luthier some 14 year old spotty Russian geek and BS in the back of an old caravan.
