Friday Update canceled for summer?
 

Did I miss something? Or has the Friday updates been canceled indefinitely now?

I haven't been around here very long, but I was wondering about this myself.

Maybe some are having their holiday or maybe there just isn't anything to report ATM, who knows.

Well it's a shame.

Despite the popular opinion, or unpopular opinion (whatever). I quite liked seeing the new screenshots and possible patches.

The last lot were quite good, and the possible patches were nice too.

I think a lot of folks are disappointed.
I have moved this sim from my SSD onto
my platter drive for the moment.

Hopefully, things will work out eventually.
Communication will improve?
A Steam patch will be released?
Folks can spar online in aircraft?
Instead of here on the forums.

Let the people work, every minute they write on this forum they do not work, they must work, they are from the country that did invent "Stakanovism" is it not? Rabota a lot of rabota no play.

Guys.... it´s the first Friday without an update since maybe a month or two...

On my game-box I don´t find anything like "regular Friday updates included"...

No, but it did say this:

1) We never promised update every Friday
2) On this Friday I didn't got new info for update

Blacksix - How are we suppose to test a beta patch that has no readme file with the list of fixes you have made? Would you say the Trees/Grass/Clouds have been fixed in your opinion, it's just you stated 7 weeks ago that they would take 3 days each to fix and there has been no news on this matter since then. Are we to guess that the trees Lod in it's current state is the fix? Because without a reamme file it's difficult to know. Can you please answer questions like this to put people in the picture. Thankyou!!

Thanks for the reply B6, I think quite a few people were expecting at the very least a readme for last weeks patch, as it was stated that the reason for not having a readme was that 'there was not enough time to complete a readme, it will be released next week'.
Most of us do understand however that you can only release what is given to you by Luthier and the team.

Progress is being made, but a readme of the last patch would help is us beta testing it

I think we all know this, but it's about time that Luthier and the team stopped sending out messages that are incorrect. Until you know for certain something is fixed and finished then I wouldn't suggest saying when it's going to be released.

Wait guys, they want the readme to perfect, they wont release it until they are happy with it.
If we keep asking for it, we will get it, but they might have to re-write the readme again.
What they could do is release a Alpha readme for us to test for bugs and then later on release a beta readme, we test that and then in a few months release the official readme.

I never wanted to publish my opinion, but this is too much, the game is the worst combat fly simulator I have ever played, this is annoying, minimun requeriments are a joke, you can't play this sim if you don't have a rig over 2000 dollars, the performance is really bad, the stuttering are annoying, corrupted graphics? come on, has spent more than a year trying to fix this useless game, now I am angry because I can't play the game I bought, trying to support you guys, sincerely waiting anxiously every Friday hopefully launch a patch that fixes the problems, sorry but I am tired of waiting, this game don't have fix... I am sure they have only two guys working in this project and the remaining are working in the new sim, thats why we still dont have a fixed smulator, sorry guys, but you have to respond to those who paid for this game, then work in the sequela, excuse my english if I written bad

They obviously had nothing of consequence to state or show. I'm sure it they had something positive they would be clamoring to get it out, otherwise not so much.

personally i have buy from DESASTERSOFT their expansion and i'm really enjoying the sim now
the AI stops to have f-16 roll styles in this beta is much better and their missions is very accurate and very well done

Are you freaking kiddin me?? no news?? where is the readme? what about the tree`s bugs, the hurri problems, the 109 ailerons, etc? NOTHING TO SAY ABOUT THAT??? Reallyy?!?! ...not even an statement about "yes, we know that bugs and we are working on it"??? ..... seriously guys you look like amateurs for god sake... :-x
