I decided to compare it to this bbc image.

There's a slight correlation between the two...

Krupi... wash you bloodey head mate. Liverpool and manchester especially are rough as old houses... All the real murders go down in London althougth allot of murders go on up North too... However made this has an agenda... Glasgow doesnt even have a murder listed... This study is a load of balls... ;)

Correlation? Between what and what? And how does a map showing the locations of 'fatal stabbings and shootings' involving 'young victims' in one particular month almost five years ago have any relationship to another map showing current 'popular genres', but giving no data whatsoever tell us anything?

I just found it quite amusing that's all.

1. You're using 2012 gaming data with 2007 stabbing/shooting data, and trying to make an arguement that the type of gaming has an influence over stabbing & shootings. At the very least, you should be using crime data taken after the gaming data was colated.

How does the old saying go? There's lies, there's damn lies, and then there's statistics. This piece of "journalism" is one of the three.

If you could make another "study", find the # of gamers who spend 8+hours a day on a game, and still committed a murder. Bet your number is quite low.

wellcome to my world thats what happens with orginal ideas

now with 100 sample you may detect a disparity if the disparity is very big like a 33% disparity

but the samller the disparity is the more samples you need

for example to detect a 1% disparity you would need maybe 100000 samples
