Please define: "can I play with these settings"
It always depends on how many frames per second (fps) you expect in order to play well. Anyway, the answer is no. You need to change the "gtx560 ti 1gb" into a gtx560 ti 2Gb The rest will be enough. ~S~ |

new build
If you are buying the power source, get one that will work for the best video card that you might upgrade to in the future, might save you some $ or just make an upgrade later palitable.

I'm playing on similar PC without problems on 1600 resolution, online.
You just need to OC 2500k a bit, because sim is processor dependent. You can maybe consider 2GB card to be futureproof, but for now you dont need it. http://i360.photobucket.com/albums/o...odsettings.jpg @Athos you are running very high resolution |
thanks for your replies, i was considering to buy the version of 2gb, but if the price is to high i will stand on the 1gb, i turn some things off and it will be playable at 30 fps, or sometingh right?

I don't think its smart buy a PC now at all! You have Nvidia and AMD coming out with new vid cards. You also have Ivy bridge coming out in a few months as well. Not much is going on with this game online atm so I'd wait.

Check the price differential between the 560ti 1Gb and 2Gb. It should NOT be that much. Something important: It is worthwhile to check which version of 560ti you are buying! The newer 560ti have 448 CUDA cores (shaders). This is almost the level of the 570GTX. Older 560ti only 384 CUDA cores (shaders) So, when you compare prices, make sure you compare the 560ti with the same number of cores (shaders). ~S~ |
ok i will cannot buy the newer graphics cards so i need to buy that, and please, i have one more question, i will get te 2GB version, but its de GTX560 (whitout the TI) can anyone tellme if is a good choice change te GTX560TI for the GTX560 2GB?
|
I think that 560 Ti is better choice then plain 560.
You wil get 60+ fps most of the time.l |

As I mentionned, there is difference even between 560ti and 560ti... ~S~ |
ok, there are a diference in 50 "cudas" so i think i will ge the TI version, i need to talk whit the "trader" thank for all of you, much thanks i like be in a comunnity like this :)
|
I was about to buy the 560ti myself, but ended up with a 570. It was only 50€ more expensive then the 2GB version of the 560, with much more power.
|
finally i will buy the GTX560IT 2GB , i think it will be good for playing the game decent at 1440x900 in medium/low settings
|
You will be able to play at High settings in SP!
I only use Med settings for MP (on-line) and my PC is not as good as yours! |
ahha i hope that, i really love the old good il2, but this one, i fell in love, the other one, was the game that i spended more hours, but, i felt like its, "blank" or its like its whitout of life, so , in long fligths is, "boring" but this one is really perfect, and its only released a very short time ago!,the planes here, are, wow, its like you are in a real spitifre, the felling, its awesome, i really love to see, some il2 cliffs of dover "1946" , just imagine, all the maps, planes, and stuff, in this sim, all the planes whit that feeling, gorgeus, simpli amazing ;)
