Game won't boot up
 

Hi everybody.

This is the first time I've had this problem since July. The steam prompt comes up... "Preparing to launch IL-2 Sturmovik Cliffs Of Dover" but nothing happens.

Are you trying to start it through a shortcut or through steam?

If I uninstall Steam and COD and reinstall COD both COD and Steam will be reinstalled? If so will I get patched up again by Steam?

i have also no luck in the moment. Guessing its a steam-cod related issue.

Roger. Glad I checked back. how do you play offline anyway. I have no idea how to start this game with out steam coming up.

Before back in the good old days of 2001 IL-2 it was get my Dad tea, pie or cookies now it's walk my dog.

Same here! Just on time with my pedals which came via post right now,and my whole new system!
Time to install!

Not me

I had to reinstall. That fixed it.

steam sorted but game still will not start, fresh install that i tried this morning has not fixed issue...

will try again now that steam is working properly, well i guess it kills an hour or so ......:-P
