MARK 1 SPITFIRE FLIES ONCE AGAIN - ENJOY!

A tribute from the outset of WWII…..

Mark 1 Spitfire flies once again. Extremely rare. Watch it in full screen.

Yes i've heard of this. Such a beautiful old spit! Would love to see her in person someday. Outstanding!! :)

Great great great, was always wondering why there were no MK.Is left over, it's "the" Spitfire of the war, no later mark managed to get into the spotlight as much. To see it in such condition is awesome.

Nice...thanks for the "Heads up", I would never have seen this video clip otherwise.

GF_Mastiff 11-02-2011 03:59 PM

cant view it blank screen

In the video at 1:04 - 1:07 you can see the "wheels down" indicater stick in the starboard wing withdrawing out of sight as the wheels come up after take-off. I know we have the "flaps down" indicator panels in both wings, but do we have the wheels down equivalents in CoD?

excellent..

Thank you very much, looks effortless. Notice no flames on the exhausts. Would be interesting to talk to the pilot about the Neg G question.

looks nice.... also nice too see a portuguese T-6 flying side by side with it... .feeling patriotic now.

It is also to my eyes the most beautiful spitfire. The others somehow are degraded in beauty, a little bit more with every new upgrade.

When it comes to the classical Spitfire? absolutely. It still has some of that 30ies classyness. Only other Spit looking good is the XIV, but I suppose that is an entire different birld entirely.
