February 1st release date?
 

I just checked GameSpot out of curiosity to see if there was anything new on this game and they now have it listed as it being released on February 1st. Needless to say I was shocked to read this since last I saw it was still TBA 2008.

Does anyone know if this is right? Man, this will be so cool if we are only 2 weeks away from it's release.

I have seen GameSpot post wrong dates before, but I still have my fingers crossed.

Thing is, it isn't just GameSpot. I've seen this release date on a few sites so unless they are just copying each other, they had to get the info from somewhere.

I am afraid that the info about February 1st is wrong, please stay tuned and watch our site for the correct info ;)

Q2 2008 is the last one. Ergo late June in worst case scenario...
Why on earth cant they schedule a month or two extra before releasing dates ? Anywhere else on this earth you get your butt kicked if you pass the agreed date...but not in the world of games

Well in the manual for Fantasy Wars, the release date is stated as June 2008.

Where was that?

I just looked in my Fantasy Wars manual and there isn't a single thing about King's Bounty in there.

I certainly hope it is released before June. I was counting on an early March release, but that seems improbable now.:(

Maybe we will get a demo in March to hold us over until the full release!

I have heard it is in April, from a person I trust very much.

In the PDF version, the very last page shows an ad for King's Bounty.

Gamespot has updated the release date on their site to May 20th.

GAH!:shock: I guess I need to find something else to play for awhile.

EBGames and GameStop now have it being released on 5/20/08 as well with a price of $39.99. They all (including GameSpot) have the title as "Battlelord: King’s Bounty".

Hey 1C, any word on a demo? May is a long time away. Would be nice to play with something in the meantime.

Heroes of might and magic 2/3 or Disciples 2.
Even Disciples 3 if it get put before Kings Bounty
