Has the USA release updated and improved the game?

As the title says, has the release in the USA meant any updates and improvements for the versions already released?
Communication on here considering how important this release should/could be is frighteningly non existent .

There have been no updates/news from Luthier since we saw those wonderful photo's taken in his office, i still look at them now. So, the version of the game will be the same, which means despite Luthier heartfelt apologies for selling a broken game to Europe and Russia, he's now gone and done it all again. He's got some balls though, you got to give him that!

Ahh Tree, you never disappoint.

Ze-Jamz 07-19-2011 08:00 AM

Lol

robtek 07-19-2011 08:00 AM

I wouldn't say "broken", unfinished is more precise, i believe.

Hello, pilot! On behalf of the entire development team we’d like to welcome you to our new flight simulation. If you’ve played our previous titles you know what to expect.

I will be shocked if ubi have gone and released it without a patch!

Bokononist 07-19-2011 08:11 AM

Fired up steam this morning in anticipation of a 'release patch', sure enough within seconds I saw 'One Item Downloading' hurray....................................
for Team Fortress 2.

David198502 07-19-2011 08:17 AM

i would be surprised if we would get patch.
i really dont think that we will get anything, considering the total silence of the devs.

furbs 07-19-2011 08:23 AM

Come on David, Do you really think with the grand release of COD to the United states of America, the sims biggest market in the world, they would do NOTHING?

Lets find out....

on the website...nothing?
on the forums...nothing?
on the facebook page....nothing?
steam...nothing?
patches....nothing?

dont be so silly...

were in great shape! and i cant wait to spend my hard earned cash on their next product!! can anyone else?

jimbop 07-19-2011 08:23 AM

Well I'll give them the benefit of the doubt until it's actually released. If no patch is delivered then at the very least they should post an update for the (no doubt) puzzled and frustrated new players that will emerge over the next few days. Imagine buying the game and then arriving at this forum only to read complaints about lack of communication!

The total silence is probably because they are working on the soundbug. so its OK.

Hi Kodiak, no vacancy but homework, being my own principal has some advantages (as you wrote @ sturmovik.de) like lurking around in english forums to wait for patches for our american brothers and sisters..

Best to suevia :)

machoo 07-19-2011 10:27 AM

I just wish they would release the SDK . I can see this game being dumped and focus being shifted to future titles.
