As I said, it's 12 hrs earlier than Steam's posted release time... for some reason...

I bought the download through Ubisoft in May... and I got an email from them about !0:00pm saying it's available now

is it actually going to be available or is it Ubisoft on-line licensed code? and Internet connection reliant?

Im sure the excitement will soon wear off once you/ve played it.

I'm downloading digital content through the Ubisoft store, and I used the same activation code to begin the download through Steam's server, too...

What can I say? I was expecting it to possibly release tomorrow at 10:00am, but it was tonight, instead...

Whether I can get it to run is another story... :grin:

I am just glad they didn't hold it back... and, they may have fixed some issues...

I got the DL link from UBI in the mail but the link doesn't work. Not 12 am yet though.

I went into the Ubisoft online store.. entered my order number and password to get to my order details and where before it was only Silent Hunter III that was available to download, it now has Cliffs o'Dover, too...

Steam says about 9 hrs.Maybe a patch will unlock at the same time.

Amazon has removed the preorder from their ad.With expedited shipping you can get it by the 20th.

So has Overstock.com.

Direct to drive still lists 7/19/11.

If amazon and Overstock are indeed shipping now then the disc went gold a short while ago.If it went gold then either they have the same version we do or an improved version.

If it is the same we may not see a patch.If it is improved, Luthier had been holding out and we should see an official patch sometime today(it takes awhile to filter through all the Steam servers).
