ok i could see when it was going to be delayed a few weeks here in the us, but MAY 24 what the hell is giong on here??? this is just stupid... we have to wait almost 2.5 moths after everybody else. WOW just WOW....

Buy it from Just flight in the UK and have it now. Plenty of others in the US have done so.

And when they did, did they pick "rest of the world" before making the purchase (ultimately switching the price in dollars instead of pounds)? Cause right now that's what I want to do but I'm getting a little scared that it blocks my game on steam cause my release date should be in may... Thanks if you can answer that :)

USA is last and most valuable market for IL-2. If they screw up US release, they screw up entire project. So, if they want take some time, let it be. Without commersial succes they will lost any chance for futher development: no more planes, no more maps.

CoD is region coded. Buying it from another country wont work because it has to be activated through Steam ... sorry, unless you buy the Russian version ;)

I am in the US and I got my copy from just flight, and I have been enjoying the game for weeks now. I canceled the US pre-order and just got it from just flight. works without any problems.

Please can you tell me if you paid the game in pounds or in dollars? (or in euros?) in just flight . com? before making the purchase did you pick rest of the world?!

Rest of the world pays in US dollars (see section under Currencies). I purchased CoD from JustFlight 2 weeks ago and it works just fine through Steam. Ohio here.

That is not true.A lot of us from the USA have bought the game through Just Flight without an issue.They just send you the key code through email and after you download the game you just activate it in steam with the key.

I can confirm that you can buy it from Just Flight if you are in the USA. Oregon here. I paid in US dollars. They emailed me a key. I activated on Steam and then contacted Steam to cancel my US preorder. Been playing for weeks now.

Been playing for two weeks here in Virginia. Ordered thru JustFlight as well. Relatively quick download (~3 hrs) and a few dollars cheaper than pre-orders with other online sellers.

WTF! with all the WTF's around here!? Just go play Quake for a while if you can't read one of the dozens of threads telling you exactly how to get the game now. If you can't manage that we don't need you bitching about how much the game suxxors and shouldn't have been released yet anyway.

P.S. Sorry if I'm a little cranky, but I can only take so much of the same old crap.

You tell me LOL!People complaining about the North American release date make me laugh.A lot of people have stated several times that you can get the sim from Just Flight in a legal and easy way.Why people cant read before posting is beyond me.There is no collectors edition just direct download, if you had a pre-order just ask for a refund and steam will take care of it in a matter of one or two days. Im not trying to sound offensive by the way.

I told Steam that we should probably wait another month to make sure all the bugs were ironed out.

your wrong my friend, i live in USA and have a working version in english bought from justFlight. even downloaded through steam with the key from justflight. didnt make a new account either. I bought 3 copys all work fine

Can someone make a sticky thread directing USA flyers to justflight so another one of these threads does not pop up again. I don't know why so many USA flyers are afraid to buy it in fear of a steam account ban. I've had it since the 1st of April and cancelled my preorder on steam. No one will get in trouble from buying this game from JustFlight

thanks, well I did that, took my key, turned it right away in steam's ignition... game downloaded pretty fast through steam... Now .... microsoft framework is giving me issues lol xD But the just flight solution seems fine :) As my game is successfully downloaded, and on my computer as of now lol

Well I broke down and bought it through justflight. I hope it doesn't cause an issue having the game already installed while my refund/cancellation ticket has yet to be processed :p

At this point I don't even care. If I end up having to pay an extra $45 for a month earlier access then so be it.

What I might suggest is this... get the Russian Version through Yuplay. Go to Yuplay Uk and buy $15 worth of their Yums.. then go to the Russian Yuplay and buy the game using those Yums. It was about $14.. I setup a new steam account using a different email and activated and downloaded the game. If you use a little search effort you can find a file to make the Russian version "English" That way I can play the game now, and I'll also get my English version later. I'll have both version available for the 2 PC's I have at the house and be able to smoke my sons in LAN play :)

Bought mine here in Texas, from JustFlight. Had the Russian version earlier, but when it was released in Europe, I picked up my English version at JustFlight.

So I don't have to wait for the U.S. release.

I'm in Canada, I was in the UK for a few months and picked up the CE while (whilst) I was there. I installed it back in Canada thinking when I put in the CD KEY it wouldn't work....but low and behold it did. Steam recognized it and allowed me to play/auto updated everything.

Sooooooo, I'm not sure if that's the case in the US or not, but from a Canadian perspective...I can say 100% the UK English version of CLoD works perfectly fine with Steam (Canadian steam account)

You wont regret it. I had pre orderes and got a refund after the first delay. Not only that but just flight is 5 bucks cheaper! It works awesome and this last patch really made this game work! I just don't see the big deal why to continue to push back the us release. The game is playablev its beautiful. And more and more are getting just flight copies everyday.

If you had it you'd be whining even more trust me. They cant release it in its current state to the U.S. it'd be suicide.

First two months of CloD beta-testing only for tough europian guys. In May this game will work on laptops, and it will have as many bugs, as lice in the Angelina Jolie's pubic hairs.

I honestly don't care. I figure by the time it hits the US most of the bugs will have been worked out and we can all post threads about how much the game rocks, and wondering what the Euros were complaining so much about.
