Realistic tournament?
 

I want to do a 2v2 or 3v3 if there is enough interest realistic tournament I would be happy to organize it there wouldn't be any cool prizes at the end but I think it would be fun anyone interested this would be for ps3

Plane of choice...?.......Fixed ac V ac ?.... Will sent PSN message to those on my friends list who rumble in realistic...

Although I prefer the simulator, you can count on me to play a tournament in realistic. But I tell you I'm not an ace, if anyone wants to take as a wingman, ok.

Ok well I understand organizing 2v2 matches will be a little more difficult then 1v1 but in realistic 1v1s turn into a big turning war with no kills so I think 2v2 will be best this is just for fun so no big rush I would like to get around 8 teams and do a double elimination set up the only limitation on planes will be no bombers and no planes with tail gun all others fair game I was thinking to set up first matches I would draw teams out of a hat gameswould be 20 mins team with highest points wins take s pic of the results and send it to me the occasional crash Is understandable sometimes you just can't bail but intentional crashing will lead to D.Q I have never organized anything like this so if you guys have some ideas let me know so get your wingmen and send me your teams if we get enough I'll get this thing kicked off

Can we have a head on etiquete too? I get so tired of head on slugging matches. It's almost scissors paper stone with a head on.
I prefer a nice turning battle to a head repeat head on
2 v 2 on strike mode would be best. As has been said we can use Macs rules for it. We don't need to worry about crashes that way

Good idea for useing strike dk and I also hate the head on over and over so yeah we will do something about that I'm glad there is some interest in this Keep the ideas and teams coming

Whoever wants to take a newcomer to their wing, sound off. I'm not great, But i'm not horrible either.

I will team with whoever, so whoever says they are up for it. Put us down as a team mavrickandgoose.


Also if you need help setting all this up let me know, I ran tournaments and helped with a ladder in a PC game called Defcon. I also ran dedicated servers with live stats and match recordings. Althought I don't think this will be usefull here unless B.O.P. has some sort of API I can grab stats from.

Dont know if this is common knowledge ( excuse if it is ), one thing Scottytv4 taught me was hold a Realistic match over the sea...ie Dover / Scicily...

players taking damage over land and then accidental tree top crashing often results in no score, but over the sea it nearly always ends up the downed ac being awarded the kill to the opponent. sort of keeps things even :)

Will be up for this, not good enough to lead a team but looking to be cover for more experienced player . keep you posted.

If the game is attack, I have no problem flying a bomber or aircraft attack
