I live in Norway, and the clock is 16.50 at the day.
When the clock hit 00.00, will i be able to play the game then ? It come's out 31th, and i have ordered the game from steam.

Well, I wonder myself too what will happen when 1 trillion lovers of CloD request to download it at 00:01.

I guess Steam servers will crash and there will a global riot of gamers of all genres :P

Nope... Unlocks at 19, valve steam store said at 17:02 30.03.2011 -> unlocks in 1 day and 2 hours.

Thats an estimate, I think its wrong.

Considering that valve operates with US pacific time and I guess some one has to click a button during office hours to issue the unlock command so 19 CEST which would be their 10 PDT don't sound too far of.

I would love to be wrong and see it be playable sooner.

I am looking at the Steam Store right now....

Where are folks getting that its available at midnight tonight?

If you order the game from Norway you'll get the English version :)
Dont know about the rest of EU. Sweden and Denmark get the English version to.

Gah, I've tried to be patient too, but now I'm getting frustrated as many of you. I wonder what the deal is with these different dates for different countries...it's not like they're printing a lot of disks, since you buy it on line in steam. March 31st is in 3 hours for me, I was happy all day today until i found this out hahaha...

Yeah, I'm sitting up til 01:00 tonight to see if I can activate it. Steam still says "APPROX" 22 hours. Havn't even heard shit from Ubi.com so still waiting intensely, alone, in the light of my monitor...

Probably not what you want to hear but it's region locked anyway due to Steam: even if you get an EU version you probably won't be able to run it until the US release date.

The only way to do it is use a proxy server with an EU-based IP to get an EU version (boxed or download) and keep using the same fake IP until your own release date, but i think you run the risk of having your steam account banned in such a case--->money down the drain since you apparently can't use it without a working steam account.

It's this bunch of conflicting conundrums that make me dislike the mandatory steam use. You pay for it, you play it, that's how it should really be.

Hey. I did see that the game was out. No pre-order any more in the Steam meny... Did think. ****! I did pre-order the game and need to wait to the clock is 20.00 tomorrow..
