Why isn't this place flooded with vid's?

But yes, wondering where all those feature-videos went, which were supposed to be released at some point. Maybe they are at the same place as "what would you like to see in future updates?" topic, which didn't turn out to affect the weekly updates anyhow.

That was just an offhand remark. They didn't promise and it was unlikely I thought. Probably be more like when PF came out and the odd vid from Checkyoursix and others took the place of any official publicity. Won't be too much longer anyway. Even I'm chilled and happy to wait :)

The russian version was released today. Several got it.

I wonder how many people will attempt to trick steam into allowing them to purchase the game and play it from a different country! ;)

I know its bizarre isn't it? I've never seen such horrible marketing for a software title, thats practically non existent. I guess they just suppose all the hard core flight sim nuts know about it anyway, and since thats their core audience who will buy it regardless there's no point in doing any marketing or promo vids than what we've seen so far, its been rather pathetic on Ubi's part (I dont not blame Oleg or his team) they shoulda had the resources made available to them to do this (a dedicated screenshot/video maker) like most companys do.
Not to mention the extremely annoying release dates/ambiguity. Im very annoyed, I will buy the game but I got zero love for Ubi or the way they are doing things.

Advertising is Ubi's job not Oleg and his team, Ubi get money for sales and promotions the balls firmly in Ubi's lap!!!!

Global release date would have been alot better cause this is going to cost the Oleg team money. Im not talkin about just the release btw im also talking about the lack of proper gameplay videos with sound instead of these halfbacked crappy ones people need to find for them self all over the interwebs and mainly on russian sites. Im srry but thats not how it suppose to be done.

Some advice to Oleg and the team since i enjoy your game Il2 and probably COD aswell, for the love of god get rid of UBISOFT as a publisher cause they have done **** all for you guys. And second hire a marketing guy + videoeditor guy before you release an fllw up or an expensionpack.

That's why they have all this problems. Lack of clear legal contract.

I think that Ubi must have tied Oleg up pretty tight in a contract. I cant see him WANTING to be with them after what has happened with NG.
