I'm afraid I don't know the answer to your question, however if it isn't possible, I will gladly help you boost them back. :) I'm only missing the Bf109-G-10 :)

Actually, you can keep your unlocked planes. Just copy your IL2 game save to a storage device (A USB Flash Drive should do) and copy that to your new PS3. You may not be able to get any new Trophies if you do this, though.

That is if you still have the first PS3 and it works.

Yes, that would work. If otherwise I'm sure you can find a save file off the internet.

i had to reset my PS3 the other day and I've lost all my game data and trophies. For the 3rd time. :(

Either I have a crappy PS3 or it hates me.

There are signs of impending playstation death
1 constant ps3 crashes in all games played
2 Hairdryer mode, playstation no longer it's quiet self
3 BluRay malfunctions not reading discs etc

Allow these errors to persist and they can cause a number of different hardware problems.
Some of these problems can be headed off by simple maintainence that will require you to remove the warrauntee sticker either to clean out a dust choked power supply or heatsink, to re apply thermal paste to the cpu and gpu.
Thermal paste drys up after about two years of use, this is the primary cause of most ps3 death, the irrepairable damage to the gpu and cpu caused by an in-ability to shunt heat to the heatsink because of dried up thermal paste.

Don't know if you have fixed this yet? Mine did the same and my wife read the instructions hooked both up and transferred the files. Prior to her doing the transfer I took a beating starting from ground zero.

I think you can connect the two PS3s with a cable, and transfer EVERYTHING to the new system. Though i don't exactly what to do.

EDIT: Here's a video demonstration & Information on the function.

Hello guys, I have a new playstation too and I did that transfer by connecting playstations with ethernet cable as it may say in the manual (bad habit to never read those). I got everything else transferred but that p47 dlc and that I can redownload from store. So everything went good for me.

So see you guys in the virtual sky soon.

This will work. It is exactly what my wife did, to include going back to the playstation store and downloading the p-47. I do know after you transfer the data with the ethernet cable, you an go to the store and your purchase will still be their and you just download it again at the end. Goo Luck it will work.
